It's down to the last few hours...We are heading to New Holland Horse Auction TOMORROW!...make a donation now to help us save a life tomorrow! Our paypal is still down (I'm working on it, I promise!!) so send a donation to donnakye@hotmail.com and make it for Project Sage!! You can also send a check to
Project Sage Horse Rescue Inc
63 S. Waldinger St.
Valley Stream, NY, 11580
We are hoping to rescue 4-5 more horses so please consider helping out! I promise you will sleep better at night knowing you helped a horse!
The three new mares are doing REALLY well! They are gaining weight and seem very happy to have hay in front of them!! They could really use blankets, if anyone has a 76-80 laying around please consider donating one to May, Glory, and Kenzie.
We attended Camelot Horse Auction on Wednesday night and we were able to rescue a pregnant pony mare. She is due in ONE MONTH!!! Which means I'm having another contest!! Let's name this baby! Send in your name suggestions with a $1.00 donation to help Charlotte name her baby either to paypal (donnakye@hotmail.com) or to our snail mail address (listed above!). We can really use donations to help pay for her vet bills to get her baby into this world safely. Please consider helping her out!!
We were also able to rescue a mini who is now named Dually. He thinks he's about 17 hh tall! Both these horses are now in QT. We were also able to rescue two goats now named Bert and Ernie. They will be living at our farm and enjoying life instead of ending up on someones dinner plate. Stop by and visit our new goats! They are still scared but they are coming around.
Need to take a moment to thank Ray for shipping our new TB mares and for also shipping our Camelot rescues and helping me with my goats!! Also need to thank Kim for taking such good care of all of our rescue horses while they are in QT.
Wish us luck tomorrow as we head to PA tomorrow around 4 am! I will update everyone tomorrow on my facebook (Brittany - Project Sage) and will update my blog ASAP! Thank you to everyone who has donated.
Please check out the horses for adoption and spread the word about them! They would love to find homes for the spring!!
