Another loss for Project Sage

On Thursday we had another terrible loss.  Kenzie, a 3 year old TB filly, passed away due to complications of being starved for years.  We are devastated that Kenzie was too far gone for us to be able to help her but are glad we were able to give her love in her last few weeks on this earth.  I pray the person who starved her to death gets punished for his horrible crime.  We are all still in the grieving process after losing two of the three thoroughbred mares so close together.  We are really pulling for Glory and are hoping she stays on the road to recovery.  Kenzie left us with a large vet bill to pay off totaling $1740.00.  We have raised some of the money but we still need a little over $1000.00 to pay off her vet bill.  Please help Kenzie rest in peace by donating in her memory.  She fought very hard her last few days of life and did not deserve what happened to her.  It truly pains me to see how people treat their animals.  Ray said he is ashamed to be part of the human race after he watched Kenzie take her last breath of air.  I agree with him at this moment in time as I grieve the loss of another horse.  Only 3 years old and Kenzie is gone from this world.  She should have passed away at a ripe old age with a belly full off apples and years of understanding that people love her.  I am glad we were able to comfort her and let her know she was loved and will always be loved by the Project Sage family.  May angels lead you in Kenzie.  Please give Sage a kiss on his velvet nose as you cross over the rainbow bridge.

Donations in Kenzie's honor can be made via pay pal to projectsagehorserescue@gmail.com or can be sent to:
