Grant gets a home!!!

Just want to take a moment to say congrats to Ray (the best shipper in the world) on his adoption of Grant.  Grant was the special belgian we rescued from New Holland a few weeks ago.  Grant will get to have the best life in the world and hang out with other drafts just like him!  Good luck Grant, you are a special guy.

We have some amazing horses in the rescue right now so now is the time to adopt!!!

We found out today Izzy is actually a gaited Rocky Mountain Horse!!!  She is AWESOME!  Anyone can ride this horse.  She is sweet and has a nice w/t/c.  She has really proved herself to be an awesome horse.

We also got to ride Justice today and he was also awesome.  Melissa rode him for me and he did a VERY nice w/t/c and he even jumped a few cross rails with ease.  Talking about a nice horse!  All of these horses are proving to be incredible.  Usually we make "training plans" for our rescue horses.  They are put on a weekly schedule of days to get ridden. Today Melissa and I stood in the aisle of the barn and were talking about how amazing all the horses are and they don't need much training!  This has not happened since I met Melissa.  I always have something for her to work with and put some training into!  I'm sure she's happy she can get on anything in the barn and they are all easy going!

I have about 5 horses available right now that are not listed.  I have a great web designer who updates this site for me but she has been sick so has been unable to list the new horses for me.  Feel better Angela!!

We are in the process of planning for our dinner on May 21st and we STILL need you help collecting items for our Chinese Auction.  Any new items and gift certificates!  Please ask your local merchants and get some cool items for us to raffle off at our fundraiser.  We are hoping to make this our best dinner yet!  Tickets will be available soon!!!  We hope a lot of our out of state supporters will be able to make this trip to see our farm and come to the fundraiser!  Yes, the fundraiser will be held at the gorgeous Ketcham Farm!

It's a bit chilly tonight, all of our horses are snug in their blankets!  Have a good night everyone!
